Keeping fit with you and your dog

  1. Be Prepared! Make sure you have water and snacks for you and your dog.
  2. Is your dogs lead and collar worn? Always check before you set off.
  3. Make sure your dogs ID tag is visible and up to date
  4. DON’T start off with a 10 mile hike. Start slowly and build up. Not only can your feet hurt but your dog’s can too if you are not used to walking long distances.
  5. Charge you mobile phone! If you lose your way, or your dog, you can alert someone immediately.
  6. If taking a secluded walk, make sure you tell someone where you are going.
