- Be Prepared! Make sure you have water and snacks for you and your dog.
- Is your dogs lead and collar worn? Always check before you set off.
- Make sure your dogs ID tag is visible and up to date
- DON’T start off with a 10 mile hike. Start slowly and build up. Not only can your feet hurt but your dog’s can too if you are not used to walking long distances.
- Charge you mobile phone! If you lose your way, or your dog, you can alert someone immediately.
- If taking a secluded walk, make sure you tell someone where you are going.
Most of all……. Enjoy keeping fit with your dog!
