Did you know our cats ‘talk’ to us with their tails?

High tail – This means they are confident and content. A twitch right at the end of the tail can mean extreme happiness!

Curved tail like a question mark – This may indicate that your cat is feeling playful.

Low Tail – This can signify aggression but be aware that Persians tend to have a low tail for no reason what so ever

Tail tucked underneath – This could mean that your cat is nervous or scared.

Tail puffed up – Your cat is frightened and trying to look bigger to ward off danger.

Whipping tail – You may want to back off!  This is a sign of aggression.

Swishing tail – You may notice your cat does this before pouncing on prey. It shows deep concentration.

Tail wrapped around another cat – It’s a cat hug!
