High tail – This means they are confident and content. A twitch right at the end of the tail can mean extreme happiness!
Curved tail like a question mark – This may indicate that your cat is feeling playful.
Low Tail – This can signify aggression but be aware that Persians tend to have a low tail for no reason what so ever
Tail tucked underneath – This could mean that your cat is nervous or scared.
Tail puffed up – Your cat is frightened and trying to look bigger to ward off danger.
Whipping tail – You may want to back off! This is a sign of aggression.
Swishing tail – You may notice your cat does this before pouncing on prey. It shows deep concentration.
Tail wrapped around another cat – It’s a cat hug!
