All of our Rawhide Chews and Munchy Chews are predominantly made by hand. Rawhide is a natural product. The manufacturing process of Rawhide Chews and Munchy Chews is highlighted below
Rawhide Chews – the animal’s skin is split, washed and cleaned. The hides are then cut, formed and dried. Chemicals used in the manufacture of any bleached Chews are totally safe.
Munchy Chews – the animal’s skin is split, washed and cleaned. The hides are then chopped and mixed with a binder of rice and starch. This is then pressed into moulds for production. The water soluble colorants used the manufacture of our chews are legal for the UK market and have fully approved by the EU
